The Business Week 2008 website has "gone live". The site, commissioned by leading event partners the Humber Economic Partnership (HEP) and designed and built by Yorkshire-based marketing and public relations consultancy TAS Communications Ltd, presents visitors with the latest information on the programme of public speakers, seminars, conferences and other activities that make up the magnificent seven-day series of Business Week events.

The site provides full contact details for each event, allowing the business community to "sign up" to the events they wish to attend during Business Week 2008, which takes place from May 30th to June 6th.
Paul Sewell, who was instrumental in establishing Business Week four years ago, has hailed the website as "one of the best I have ever seen". He added: "From a practical point of view business people want to access information in the quickest and easiest way possible and that is entirely what the Business Week 2008 website offers them."
Kate Carroll, HEP's Corporate Services Manager, said: "During the course of its construction we have shared the site with a number of people who all seem to agree that it is one of the best websites of its kind that they have ever seen. The site provides comprehensive details of Business Week 2008 and will certainly play its part in ensuring that this year's programme of events draws the biggest numbers of delegates ever."

With some events, venues and speakers still being finalised in the run-up to Business Week 2008, the website will act as a central "hub" for all of the latest news and information. Members of the media will also be able to access the latest press information on the site and an archive of press clippings.
Public speakers already confirmed for Business Week 2008 include Sir Bob Geldof, Gordon Ramsay, Elle Macpherson and Miles Hilton-Barber. Events will include the popular two-day Chamber Expo, the Humber International Logistics Convention and the launch of the Humber Seafood Institute at Europarc in Grimsby. The week provides a host of networking opportunities and events for the business community across Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North and North East Lincolnshire.
