TAS Communications receives East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Chairman's Award

TAS Communications is celebrating yet another prestigious award win, as the company was recently the proud recipient of an East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Chairman's Award.

The full service communications agency was named as the top company with up to 50 employees in the category 'enhancing the economy of the East Riding of Yorkshire' for 2006-07.

The Annual Chairman's awards acknowledge organisations and individuals who make an outstanding contribution to the East Riding of Yorkshire and were presented this year by the current Chairman, Councillor Hilary Saynor.

On receiving the award, managing director of TAS Communications, Simon Taylor, commented: "It is an honour to have received a Chairman's Award in recognition for our work to stimulate growth within the East Riding".

"We do this through helping its businesses promote themselves to wider audiences and reach their key client base, using local suppliers wherever possible and providing employment for local people in an area where jobs in our industry are hard to find. We are committed to our region and look forward to many more success for both the region and TAS."
